I think it's one of those cases where the creator is naturally more judgmental of their work, and the viewer/reader is like, "damn. this is hella good. I like the part where Stan and Kyle had a sword fight with their dicks." (this has never happened, to my knowledge, but it should because...??)
But I think, in a sense, we are both right, though. I'm right because your fics are really well done and expertly written, and you're right because there is always room for improvement and others don't always pick up on the little flaws we find in our works. Yay!
Ugh, I'm so stupid, I was writing a reply to this in Gmail and deleted it! That's not Tumblr's fault. Basically I think you are right; it's easy as a creator to be self-critical, and I know very well that everyone sees themselves in a harsher light than actually reflected in reality. Thanks for your encouragement and/or this penis-fencing visual. I'm now contemplating it and I think Stan might find it really funny and Kyle could be pretty embarrassed to find himself enjoying something so juvenile. But then later he'd be sad that he was such a bitch about it because he was having fun.
